Thoughts From The Middle Of Nowhere
It’s already been a week since the mini-trip to heaven and back. Although Gozo is just about one hour away from home (car + ferry), funnily enough I can count on my fingers the number of times in my life I have been to Malta’s sister island. Besides beautiful sunsets and delicious traditional food, the best memories were on Sunday morning when it rained so hard for a few minutes. I was impossible to resist the temptation of going out and feel the rain on your face.
The last few months were a depressing but meaningful harvest time and this trip has helped to make a break … the speed of time is working wonders. Nothing is impossible to a willing heart is always my creed.
I came across some words of wisdom today which I would like to share here …
“Energy rightly applied can accomplish anything” – Nelly Bly (1864 – 1922)
“As long as you keep a person down, some part of you has to be down there to hold the person down, so it means you cannot soar as you otherwise might” – Marian Anderson (1897 – 1993)
